The baby tigers are around 1.2 kilo each. The mother and baby tigers are very healthy.
Mr. Nguyen Dang Long, Trai Bo’s deputy director, said that the mother tiger was imported from South Africa in September 2009. She was only six months old at that time. Since then it has been raised in this tourist site, in semi-wild conditions.
Being well taken care of, the tiger developed very quickly. After 114-days of pregnancy, she gave birth to three babies. The baby tigers are fed by breast milk.
Mr. Bui Hong Thuy, Director of the HCM City-based Indochina Zoo Service JS Company, it is a very rare case in the world when a yellow tiger delivers a white baby tiger.
