Under the contract, NutiFood will finance Hien as she takes part in training and competitions for the next nine years.
The value of the contract is not fixed. It will be based on her schedule.
“Hien is too young for long-term training abroad so her parents, who are both professional chess masters, will co-operate with local federations to coach her," said Le Nguyen Hoa, a NutiFood representative. "In the future, when her family agrees, she will play the game in a leading chess country."
“We have not set any plan for her after her world title," said Le Thi Phuong Lien, Hien’s mother and coach. "But with NutiFood’s help we are confident to let her follow chess as a professional master. When she grows up a little bit we hope to bring her to train in Hungary.”
Hien is now taking part in the Asian Youth Chess Championships in Mongolia. The 9-year-old will compete in the U10 Girls category.
Last year, Hien made a big bang with her gold medal at the World Youth Chess Championships in Greece.
