At the concert, she will perform Debussy and Messiaen's classical preludes.

Born in Ha Noi in 1987 into a family of musicians, Lan is a versatile pianist who encompasses a wide range of stylistic influences, with a repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music and interdisciplinary works.

She started learning to play the piano at the age of 12 at the Ha Noi National Conservatory of Music, before receiving a full government scholarship to study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. There she earned both her Bachelor's degree and Master's degree with distinction from the class of Boyan Vodenitcharov and Daniel Blumenthal.

Lan has won prestigious prizes at several national and international competitions. They include the gold prize at the ASIA International Piano Festival and Competition in South Korea in 2011, the second prize at the National Autumn Competition (Concours d'Automne) in 2007, and the special prize at the Hanoi International Piano Competition in 2010.

She has performed various countries including Germany, Switzerland and Belgium.

Hoping to start a new music scene in Viet Nam, she has co-operated with the Dom Dom Institute for experimental music and art to introduce contemporary music to young musicians in Viet Nam.

The concert in Ha Noi will be held at the French Institute at 24, Trang Tien Street, and in HCM City at the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF), 28, Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1.
