Young teachers overcome difficulties to educate mountainous kids
The high and dangerous journey challenges travellers with abysses and mountains. However, all those difficulties can not dampen the enthusiasm of teachers.
The journey is only the starting point of numerous difficulties that the teachers have to overcome to help local pupils go to school.
Surrounded by forests and mountains, the Lung Cung village is a “four NO village”: No electricity, No tap water, No telecommunications signal and No health station.
Telephone flashlights are the only lighting source, helping teachers prepare their lessons. All the difficulties don’t dishearten the teachers, but homesickness can make them feel down sometimes.
Despite of all the hardships, the teachers have overcome difficulties to help locals go to school, hoping the kids will have a brighter future, contributing to the nation’s poverty alleviation.
