The concert will be performed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji.

The show will introduce immortal music works by great composers like Goerges Bizet, Johann Strauss, Leroy Anderson and Camille Saint-Saens. Different from the previous show in 2009, the guest artist will not be famous singers like My Linh and Thanh Lam, but the 13-year-old violinist Do Phuong Nhi.

Phuong Nhi was born in a family with music tradition. Her parents are both violinists. Her uncle is famous songwriter Le Minh Son.

The girl began learning violin at the age of four, with Prof., Meritorious Artist Ngo Van Thanh. The young talent has joined the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra in many concerts. Phuong Nhi is studying in Norway.

In the upcoming Toyota concert, the young violinist will play Saint Saens’ "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op.28".

“The Toyota Concert was very successful in the past with well-known guest singers, like Thanh Lam and My Linh. It is a good idea to invite singers to join the symphony orchestra but it does not fit the world criteria for classical concerts. Moreover, we want to create opportunities for young music talents,” conductor Honna Tetsuji explained.

The entire revenue of the show will be used for charity and assisting young musical talents.

The concert will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on June 7-8, in Hai Phong on July 10, in Hue City on July 13, and in HCM City on July 16.
