A 12-year-old girl, Nguyen To Linh from Hai Phong city. Linh won the first prize. She and the
two second prize winners (Cun Cun and Ngoc Hai-Bao Ngoc) will represent northern dancers at the
national finale in HCM City on September 24.

Kicked off in July 2011 for dancers from 10 to 25 years old, Buoc Nhay Xi Tin attracted around 1,100 dancers. With the theme “Ball of Colors”, the competition is open for all dancing genres. The jury includes singer Phuong Thanh, movie director Nguyen Quang Dung, choreographers Johnny Huy Tran and Ha Le and dancesport coach Vu Hoai Anh.

The finale of the southern and central regions finished in mid-August. The finale of the northern region (August 28) and the southwestern region (in Can Tho city on September 3) will seek the last faces for the national finale on September 24 in HCM City. The champion will receive VND100 million ($5,000).
