VietNamNet Bridge – Following the official announcement of this year’s YxineFF, the annual online international short film festival will kick off today, April 24, HCMC, Danang and Hanoi.

Yxineff 2013 film entries on ‘Choice’

Thanks to the continuing support of the film community and audiences in France, there will also be an event to celebrate a significant starting point of YxineFF 2013’s journey on May 14 at L’Auditorium in Paris.

The main program will include a short screening session called Best of YxineFF 2012, a presentation from a YxineFF representative designed for Call for Entry period and finally, an interactive session between audiences, jury members of the International Competition and YxineFF filmmakers.

YxineFF 2013 with the theme ‘Choice’ accepts submissions until July 10. The International Competition category is still the most important section.

Accordingly, the Jury will rule on: Best Film (Golden Heart Award), Directing, Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing, Male Performance and Female Performance from the International Competition.

The film fest will open on September 9 and close with an award ceremony in December.

YxineFF (Yxine Film Fest) is an annual online international short film festival at www.yxineff.com.

YxineFF’s targets young independent filmmakers and cinema lovers around the world. It receives support from many organizations, companies and individuals, including the Danish Cultural Development and Exchange Fund, the Goethe Institute Vietnam, the British Council Vietnam and the U.S Consulate General in HCMC.
