The 11-episode drama series was directed by Huynh Tuan Anh and had investment capital of VND15 billion.
It featured the participation of several leading local actors and actresses, including Vietnamese-American actress Hong Dao and Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc and People’s Artist Hong Van.
Furthermore, “Bố Già”, “Dad, I’m Sorry”, a Vietnamese film produced by Tran Thanh Town, has also been invited to compete at Asia Contents Awards 2021. The film portrays the life of an elderly xe om, motorbike taxi, driver residing in Ho Chi Minh City who faces challenges earning money for his family.
The film originally premiered in the nation on March 12, going on to break all recent ticket sale records for a local film after earning VND400 billion, equal to US$18 million, thereby becoming the highest-grossing Vietnamese movie of all time.
This year marks the third time that the Asia Contents Awards (ACA) has been held in the Republic of Korea, with the awards being held to reward pieces of outstanding television, online, and OTT (Over-The-Top) contents from across Asia.

Asian Film Festival to screen Vietnamese horror movie
Vietnamese horror movie Bac Kim Thang (Home Sweet Home) is set to premiere at the Asian Film Festival in Rome, Italy, on June 22.
