The national futsal team are scheduled to play their first friendly against UMA Antequera on February 12 before taking on Malaga two days later on February 14.
Led by head coach Pham Minh Giang, the Vietnamese squad will then play their last friendly of the tour against Real Betis on February 18.
Following the completion of their fixtures, Vietnam’s national futsal team will then depart to Turkmenistan to compete in the 2020 AFC Futsal Championship finals on February 19.
Ahead of the tournament, the team will compete in a final friendly tie against Saudi Arabia on February 22.
The group stage of the competition is set to see Vietnam play fixtures against Tajikistan, Oman, and host nation Turkmenistan.
The team’s opening match of the tournament will be against Tajikistan on February 26, followed by a game against Oman on February 28, before the final group match against Turkmenistan on March 1. All of the national futsal team’s fixtures are to be played at the Main Indoor Arena in Turkmenistan.
The tournament will also serve as a qualification event for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2020, with the five best teams in Asia set to earn a place to compete at the upcoming global competition in Lithuania. VOV
