Ho Chi Minh City aims to vaccinate 70% of local residents. To achieve this goal, the city is making vaccination lists through registration on the National Immunization Portal and the Ministry of Health's Electronic Health Book application. About 1.7 million people have registered for vaccination on the National Immunization Portal.
In addition, based on the vaccination database, the Department of Information and Communications advised the city to identify hot spots and priority subjects for vaccinations.
The HCM City Department of Information and Communications will continue to closely coordinate with the delegation of the Ministry of Information and Communications in order to assist HCM City to complete the goal of giving vaccinations to about 5 million people in the next month.
At the conference, Trinh suggested that the Ministry of Information and Communications coordinate with the Ministry of Health to reduce the burden of procedures, combined with simplifying software to reduce time and increase flexibility of vaccinations.
