Thorough preparations have been made for the festival including the installation of a large stage with a capacity of 83,000 seats.

Tourist accommodations in the city have been able to provide visitors with attractive service packages and devised plans to welcome tourists to the city.

Currently, all the hotels located next to the Han river have been fully booked for the opening ceremony on June 1.

Le Tuan, director of the Han River Hotel, said his establishment received a large number of bookings several months ago as the hotel set to operate at maximum capacity during the opening ceremony.

Although the high number of visitors, hotels in Da Nang have not increased the prices of room. The city now has nearly 800 establishments and nearly 36,000 rooms, including 80 four to five-star hotels, over 100 three-star hotels, and 65 luxury apartments, villas, and homestays.

Nguyen Minh, General Secretary of the Da Nang Hotel Association, said that establishments have undergone an upgrade of their infrastructure, improved tourism services, and have prepared human resources in order to welcome visitors.

The Da Nang International Firework Festival under the theme of "Rivers tell the stories" will last from June 1 to July 6 with the participation of eight famous firework teams from around the globe including Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Finland, Italy, England, China, and host-nation Vietnam.

Vietnamese representatives are about to compete against the Russian team during the opening ceremony on June 1.
