The People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province has approved DCH Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company to survey locations for the development of the Digital Hub Super Data Center and the undersea fiber optic cable landing project, with a total investment of VND 35 trillion.
The Digital Hub Data Center is planned to be constructed on 100 hectares in Chau Duc District, adhering to global standards for data center design.
The center will be equipped with disaster prevention and data recovery systems, ensuring safety and stability under all conditions. This is regarded as a key project that will help advance the province's information technology sector.
The undersea fiber optic cable landing project will be implemented in parallel in Vung Tau City, serving to transmit and store data from the Digital Hub center.
This fiber optic system will not only ensure the safety and quality of internet services but also enhance international connectivity, laying a foundation for modern digital services and national information security.
Both projects aim to meet the province's development needs while providing significant momentum for Vietnam to elevate its position on the global information technology map, becoming a crucial link in the region's digital infrastructure and data transmission system.
