From September 6 to 16:00 on September 7, the department received over 70 emergency calls related to tree collapses and other rescue needs. To address these issues, more than 140 rescue vehicles and equipment have been deployed, with a team of 1,500 firefighters working around the clock.

In addition to responding to emergencies, the Department has collaborated with local police and other agencies to educate residents on safety measures during the storm. They have conducted thorough assessments of areas at high risk of collapse to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.

As the storm continues to affect the region, the Department advises residents to avoid areas with large trees and construction sites where hazards are present. They also emphasize not seeking shelter under trees during heavy rain and being cautious in areas with large metal sheets or construction materials.
