Vietnamese pop star and former beauty queen Huong Giang has addressed swirling rumors that she may be joining the Miss Grand International All Stars 2026 competition - a new pageant offering prizes worth up to $1 million (around 26 billion VND).

Appearing recently at an event in an elegant off-the-shoulder pastel pink dress, Huong Giang radiated confidence alongside actor Duy Khanh Zhou Zhou.

The Miss Grand International All Stars contest has recently sparked major interest in the beauty community.

Open to both cisgender and transgender women aged 20–40, the competition sets no restrictions on marital or parental status, provided participants have previously joined an international beauty pageant.

The event is scheduled to run in Thailand from January 25 to February 13, 2026, with cash prizes ranging from $100,000 to $1 million.

Given that the organizers of this event are also managing Miss Universe 2025 and allow transgender contestants, many fans have speculated that the show may be trying to recruit Huong Giang - who previously made waves on the international pageant scene.

The CEO of Miss Universe Vietnam also confirmed they were contacted by MGI (Miss Grand International), further fueling rumors of Huong Giang’s potential involvement.

Huong Giang sets the record straight

In response to media queries, Huong Giang clarified the nature of her upcoming appearance in Thailand.

She explained that her December 10 post referencing the Grand Sport Day 2025 event by Miss Grand International was simply about attending as a guest, not as a contestant.

The invitation came through Veena, Miss Universe Thailand 2025, who was her roommate during the international competition.

Huong Giang emphasized that her December 20 appearance in Thailand is part of a celebratory event featuring past winners and runners-up - not a return to the pageant stage.

At the press event, Huong Giang spoke warmly about her connection with Duy Khanh, highlighting their shared spirit of perseverance and the ups and downs they've both faced in their personal and professional lives.

When playfully asked about her lipstick choice - one reportedly favored by her boyfriend Phu Cuong - Huong Giang smiled and said: “Every shade is beautiful and suits different people. Beauty products help me feel youthful and confident - so really, anyone standing in front of me will probably like me anyway.”
