The swimsuit segment opened the show, requiring contestants to showcase ideal physiques, confidence, and professional catwalk skills. This round is not just about physical appearance but also evaluates health, fitness, and the confident spirit of modern women.
Representing Vietnam, Huong Giang appeared in a vibrant red swimsuit that highlighted her balanced figure. She demonstrated better control and facial expressions than during the swimsuit round in Pattaya, although she seemed slightly restrained.
This segment was not just a showcase of physiques - it also emphasized individuality and charisma. Contestants from across continents brought a range of beauty types, from tall and athletic builds representing Europe and Latin America to the delicate and alluring charm of Asian contestants.
Some stood out with fluid movements and smart stage presence, while others opted for powerful, assertive styles.
The second half of the show featured the evening gown competition - an opportunity to express elegance, poise, and personal style through high-fashion couture. Judges evaluated not only appearance but also how contestants carried their gowns, their aura, and their ability to command the stage.
Huong Giang made a striking transformation in this segment, wearing a luxurious gown that exuded class and allure. Her refined makeup and accessories added polish and professionalism to her look.
With graceful catwalk steps, confident eyes, and a radiant smile, Huong Giang captured the attention of the judges, drawing loud support from Vietnamese fans whose cheers echoed through the live broadcast. Her performance received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the audience.
The evening gown competition featured spectacular designs ranging from classic to contemporary, seductive to sophisticated. Each gown showcased meticulous craftsmanship - from premium fabrics and detailed embellishments to bold color schemes. Contestants radiated confidence and glamour with every step.
The show also highlighted Vietnamese craftsmanship, with several gowns by designer Minh Tuan featured on stage. Minh Tuan revealed to VietNamNet that he had created custom gowns for ten international contestants, including representatives from Aruba, Botswana, the British Virgin Islands, Curacao, Guyana, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, and China. His designs were crafted entirely by hand, balancing sensuality, power, and elegance while accentuating each woman’s silhouette and personality.
Despite the grandeur of the stage - with a long catwalk and sweeping space - the production had its flaws. Some contestants displayed weak performance skills, struggling with confidence on the lengthy runway. Poor camera angles also undermined the visual impact, occasionally highlighting figure flaws instead of strengths.
