The One Global Vietnam – La Francophonie 2024 Forum will take place in Paris, France, on October 5-6, coinciding with the 19th Francophonie Summit.

The forum will bring together 100 experts and scientists to discuss the development prospects of the Francophone community and Vietnam's role in promoting multilateral cooperation.

Vietnam holds a significant position within the Francophonie, acting as an effective bridge between Asian countries and the community’s 88 member states.

As an active member of the International Organization of La Francophonie since 1970, Vietnam has fully participated in the organization’s political, cultural, and economic initiatives, promoting cooperation in vital areas such as education, healthcare, and sustainable development with other member countries.

The forum will highlight Vietnam’s contributions to the Francophone community and provide a platform for in-depth discussions on Vietnam’s role, position, and opportunities in driving dynamic cooperation within the group.

The main topics of the forum will revolve around three key areas: Culture & Arts, Education & Healthcare, and Commerce & Technology.

The forum will offer a unique space for scholars, experts, and leaders to delve deeper into Vietnam’s position within the Francophone community. The goal is to attract top talent, stimulate innovation, and promote sustainable growth.

In addition to the main discussions, the forum will feature a strategic roundtable on the interaction between Vietnam and the Francophone community in areas such as geopolitics, information technology, healthcare, agriculture, education, and culture.

The plenary session, titled “La Francophonie in a Globalized World: Challenges and Opportunities,” will involve high-profile guests from businesses, international organizations, governments, and academia, exploring the interactions between Vietnam and the Francophone community across multiple sectors.

The forum will also host three specialized sessions focusing on: promoting inclusive and sustainable growth through commercial and technological cooperation; exchanges on education and healthcare for mutual development; and fostering solidarity within the Francophone community through culture and arts.

Speakers will reflect on the action plan for Vietnam’s global strategy within the Francophone community, leveraging the collective talents of Vietnam and driving innovation towards sustainable adaptation.

The forum is one of the key activities of the Vietnam Global Leaders Network, which connects influential Vietnamese individuals around the world.

The event will be attended by 100 experts and scientists from over 10 countries, including strategic Francophone nations such as France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Canada, and Morocco, as well as emerging economic regions in Africa.
