The death toll from traffic accidents amounted to 118 during the first three days of the Lunar New Year (January 28-30). 


On January 29 alone, 42 road accidents took place in which 25 people were killed and 36 others injured. 

On January 30, 38 people were killed and 69 injured in 60 traffic accidents.

Between January 26 and 30, 192 traffic accidents occurred, killing 118 people and leaving 197 people injured.

The National Traffic Safety Committee said it saw a significant increase in the number of calls and messages to the hotline number on the third day of the Lunar New Year.
