VietNamNet Bridge – Traffic police of Dak Nong Province, checking a coach running from the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai to HCM City, discovered 120 cobra snakes.

Traffic police of Dak Nong inspected a coach controlled by driver Nguyen Van Can, 39, on Ho Chi Minh Highway on the night of November 23^rd.

Police detected 15 sealed plastic containers on the coach, which contained 120 cobras, with a total weight of 220kg.

The driver said that he was hired to transport the snakes from Gia Lai to HCM City.

The case was handed over to police of Dak Nong for further investigation.
