The orchestra is bringing in 13-year-old violinist Do Phuong Nhi for the January 6-7 concert at the Hanoi Opera House under the baton of Japanese conductor Tetsuji Honna.

Nhi, born in 1998 into a musical family, began studying the violin at the tender age of four under the tutelage of her parents, who both are violinists, and veteran artist Ngo Van Thanh.

Nhi is widely considered to be the youngest talented violinist in Vietnam.
