Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at 17 locations - including four high-altitude and 13 low-altitude sites - across central areas and key gateways on Lunar New Year’s Eve of the Year of the Horse.

The fireworks will last 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on February 17, 2026, the first day of the lunar new year.

Four high-altitude fireworks sites

- The area at the entrance of the Saigon River Tunnel (An Khanh ward)

- The new city center (Binh Duong ward)

- Tam Thang Square (Vung Tau ward)

- Ba Ria Park Square (Ba Ria ward)

Thirteen low-altitude fireworks sites

- Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward)

- Binh Dien Market area (Binh Dong ward)

- Cu Chi Tunnels historical site (An Nhon Tay commune)

- Central Administrative Square of Tan My ward

- Marina Tower (Sai Gon ward)

- Vuon Cau residential project (Lai Thieu ward)

- Green Square urban - commercial - service area (Dong Hoa ward)

- Pier 914 historical site (Con Dao special zone)

- Kim Long villa area near Rach Dia bridge (Nha Be commune)

- Rung Sac Martyrs Memorial Temple (Can Gio commune)

- Cultural - Sports Centers of Dau Tieng and Minh Thanh communes

Beyond choosing an ideal viewing spot, residents and visitors should keep several points in mind:

- Select appropriate transportation, as roads around fireworks sites are often restricted or closed to private vehicles. Arrive early to secure parking or prioritize public transport. Parking fees during this time may surge sharply.

- Reserve tables at restaurants or hotels with good views of the fireworks. Early booking and clear confirmation of regulations are recommended.

- Wear sneakers or flat sandals for comfort while walking and standing for extended periods.

- Safeguard personal belongings carefully, as large crowds gather at viewing areas. Limit carrying valuable accessories, jewelry or large amounts of cash.

- Bring light snacks, drinking water, tissues and devices such as power banks if arriving early.
