During a press conference in Hanoi on August 16, Deputy Political Commissar of the High Command of Border Guards Major Gen. It will review the joint work to seriously adhere to border management mechanisms and agreements, especially those regarding the war against drugs, human trafficking, and trade fraud crimes; search and rescue, and the prevention of natural disaster impacts; environmental protection; as well as models of twin border stations and communities.
A highlight of the event will be an exchange with leaders of border guard forces from the Vietnamese Defence Ministry’s Border Guard High Command, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security’s Border Control Department, the Lao Ministry of Public Security’s General Department of Police, the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces’ Royal Army High Command, the Royal Thai Armed Forces’ Border Division, and the Myanmar Ministry of Home Affairs’ Department of Border Police.
