Police in Khanh Hoa Province have arrested a 19-year-old man who fled after killing his mother and brother.

Nguyen Vo Ngoc Bao charged with killing mother and brother

The police announced the arrest on January 7. Nguyen Vo Ngoc Bao stabbed his mother and his 6-year-old brother multiple times on the heads on January 5.

According to the locals, Bao is addicted to Methamphetamine. Witnesses said they saw Bao left the house while mumbling something so they suspected that he was high. After that Bao's father returned home and found the bodies and the ransacked house.

Bao's father reported to the police and also searched for Bao but couldn't find his eldest son anywhere. The police immediately searched for Bao and arrested him in Ninh Thuan Province.

Bao admitted to the police that he killed his mother and brother. After that, he took the money, mobile phones, gold jewellery and his mother's motorbike to the pawn shop and fled to Ninh Thuan.
