VietNamNet Bridge – On the morning of December 23, more than 200 members of the Laughter Yoga Club wore the Santa outfit to participate in the Christmas Smile festival on the Hoan Kiem lakeside, Hanoi.

At 6.15 am, more than 200 club members, mostly women in the red
costume, started a new day at the Ly Thai To monument,
Hanoi, near the Hoan Kiem Lake.

”Mrs. Santa Clauses” warmed up with laughter under
 the guidance of coach.

Laughter yoga was introduced from India to Vietnam more than two
years ago, under the guidance of Mr. Le Anh Son, chairman of the club.

"Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clauses" had many styles of laughter and
movements that made people around laugh.

The club’s chairman Le Anh Son said that this type of Yoga is developed
by an Indian doctor. It combines smiling exercises with Yoga breathing
methodology. He added that five-minute practice of laughter yoga
consumes energy equivalent to a 30-minute exercise with machines.

The purpose of the club members is to have a fun, warm Christmas.

The event was also attended by a number of foreigners living in Hanoi.

“Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clauses” had a morning full
of meaning before the Christmas.
