VietNamNet Bridge - The international exhibition on the theme "Echoes from Nature" brings together more than 30 works by 30 artists from Vietnam and other Asian countries. The exhibition is held at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hanoi.
The exhibition opened on April 10 with more than 30 artworks by 30 artists from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Japan and Singapore. During seven days of the exhibition in Hanoi, the artists will visit Hue and Da Nang, bringing along more than 30 other artworks for an art exchange with Hue Young Artists Club.
The age of artists participating in “Echo from Nature” varies. There are some very famous artists, though they are humble denying their “giant” position in the art field. But people will strongly notice their contribution to their art community.
Also there are some very young artists, who start to find their own way, to get used to steps of organizing an exhibition, to become a master of the game.
In the middle, they are artists who have been gradually noticed by audiences, participating in the exhibition.
The exhibition “Echoes from Nature” was the initiative of a group called the Asia Art Link, which was established in 2005, aimed at connecting Asian artists together in art exhibitions or art events. After many field trips, most of the works by Asia Art Link members are related to nature.
This time 14 Vietnamese artists have joined the exhibition, including: Trinh Tuan, Nguyen Tran Cuong, Nguyen Ngoc Phuong, Nguyen Ngoc Quan, Trinh Minh Tien, Do Hiep, Pham Tuan Tu, Tran Manh Linh, Le Thong, Vo Ta Hung, Pham Huy Thong, Tran An, Nguyen Kim Lien, and Cong Kim Hoa.
