The literary festival with contributions from 10 European countries will be full of activities for book lovers of any age, including book readings, workshops, talks, exhibitions and film screenings.

The festival will also present 10 new issues of the book series WAS IST WAS; a new edition of The Tin Drum by Gunter Grass, and the children’s book Snofrid aus dem Wiesental - Die ganz und gar unglaubliche Rettung von Nordland by Andreas H. Schmachtl.

Since 2011, the annual European Literature Days has been organised in Viet Nam by EUNIC, the association of European Cultural Institutes and Embassies. The expansion to HCM City is a clear sign of growing interest in European literature. — VNS
