Designer Le Ngoc Lam said it took him 300 hours of work with the support of 7 skilled artisans to create Vietnamese beauty Le Hoang Phuong's dress at Miss Grand International 2023.
A total of 69 contestants arrived in Vietnam on October 3 for Miss Grand International 2023 (MGI), and they have since participated in many activities in Hanoi, Ha Long, Hue, Hoi An, and Da Nang.
The grand finale of MGI 2023 is scheduled to take place at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on October 25. Reigning beauty queen Isabella Menin from Brazil will hand over the crown to her successor.
Miss Grand International, which was founded in 2013, is one of the world's largest beauty contests with the aim to focus on humanitarian issues and promote peace.
The contest was first held in Vietnam in 2017 and has greatly contributed to promoting the country’s culture and tourism through tours nationwide. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien became the first Vietnamese representative crowned Miss Grand International in 2021.
Le Hoang Phuong, 27 from Khanh Hoa, represents Vietnam after winning Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 on August 27.
Phuong received a lot of attention and support from a large number of people across the country.
With many years of experience in the field of art, Phuong is currently the Founder and CEO of an architectural construction company. She is also a model and designer.
Phuong is also pursuing her education to obtain a master's degree and actively participate in philanthropic activities in society.
