Mr. Nguyen Tan Vinh, after many years of dedication to society, has become a street artist. Daily, he captures life with his beloved camera. Vinh is better-known as one of the 36 outstanding citizens of Hanoi honored on the 1000th anniversary of Hanoi.
In the community of photographers in Hanoi, Vinh is praised for photographs full of improvisation. He has a very simple and quiet life. His wife - Pham Thi Bich Hang, 75 – is a retired teacher. The couple has 2 children.
Mrs. Hang loves photography so she usually joins her husband to choose the best photos after her husband returns home with new pictures.
Vinh always leaves his home at 3.30pm every day to take photos.
In order to get good moments, photographers prefer cycling.
The 82 year-old man humbly considers himself a young photographer and said he has to study photography further.

His father is photographer Nguyen Van Trung, who took photos for King Khai Dinh. He owned two photo shops in Vinh City. However, Vinh started taking photos at a very old age.
The photo of the Hoan Kiem Lake is his first work taken by digital camera in winter 2008.
