As Apple continues its 50th anniversary celebrations on April 1, the company has shared a nostalgic look back at the iconic and innovative products introduced over the past half century.
The homepage has replaced its usual product imagery with an animation inspired by the classic six-color “scribble” logo often seen at Apple events worldwide.
The video uses strokes of green, yellow, orange, red, purple, and blue to recreate some of the brand’s most recognizable devices, including the original Macintosh, iMac, iPod, AirPods, and iPhone.
Tim Cook also marked the milestone with a short film that walks through five decades of Apple products. The sequence begins with the futuristic MacBook Neo and concludes with the Apple I - the company’s very first computer introduced in 1976.
Presented in a retro cinematic style, the video features 50 products, including a few unexpected selections. The eMate appears in the lineup, while the Newton is notably absent. The Quadra 700 is included, yet the QuickTake camera is missing. Apple Card makes the cut, but the 12-inch MacBook does not.
