Le Quang Khai, a man residing in northern Vinh Phuc Province, last Saturday, posted on social media a story about a crash between his car and a truck.

After the collision, the truck driver gave Khai VND19 million (US$820) to help him repair the car.

However, Khai wanted to find the driver to return VND12 million ($520) because the total cost of repairs came to only VND7 million ($300).

According to Khai, his car was hit by the truck on Highway No5 on October 11.

Both drivers took the damaged car to a nearby garage in Hai Duong City and the garage workers estimated the cost for repairs at about VND19 million.

However, when Khai took the car to another garage in Vinh Phuc City, it charged him only VND7 million.

Khai explained that at the garage in Vinh Phuc City, he decided not to replace some parts to save costs compared to the estimated charge in Hai Duong.

Khai's post hit nearly 7,000 likes, 500 shares and more than 1,000 comments.

Almost all of them expressed their appreciation for his kind act and praised the behaviour of both drivers after the collision.

Finally, Khai found the container driver thanks to Facebook, according to thanhnien.vn online newspaper. VNS
