Numerous activities of the event entitled “A Touch of Belgium” will take place at the King Ly Thai To monument in Hanoi on May 12.
Majoretteetet is a popular street art form in Belgium as well as in Europe and many countries around the world.
The official opening of the event will be held at 17.00 on the same day.
According to the organisers, the event will begin at 14:00 with the screening of three episodes in English with Vietnamese subtitles of The Smurfs movies at the main stage on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the famous cartoon characters (1958-2018).
From 14.00 to 16.00, the Majoretteetet-Brussels dance group with 11 members will march three times around the Hoan Kiem Lake. Majoretteetet is a popular street art form in Belgium as well as in Europe and many countries around the world.
Audiences will also have a chance to enjoy a wide range of cultural activities and arts performances by Majoretteetet-Brussels, Hanoi Brass Band and contemporary dance performance by Nicolas Coutsier from Belgium and KinergieStudio from Vietnam; DJ Simon Dardard and light artist Daniel Long.
In addition, many activities for children will also be held during the event.
