The National Off Road Cycling Tournament for amateurs, Vietnam MTB Series, is scheduled to kick off on August 14 in the National Culture History Park in HCM City.

The event will attract the participation of more than 150 cyclists from 30 teams across the country.
Cyclists will take part in six events in the two age groups of 19-40 and 41-50.
“Although it is a tournament for amateurs, it draws many competing groups. The event will be held professionally in the near future,” said Ngo Quang Vinh, deputy chairman of the VietnamCycling and Motor Sport Federation.
The event has a total prize of VNĐ100 million (US$4,500).
