The two sides briefed each other on the political, socio-economic and cultural development of the two countries, as well as the history and socio-economic achievements of the two capital cities.

Both Hanoi and Kiev are old cities with long history and plentiful landscapes. All of them have been recognised as cities for peace.

Ambassador Tuan thanked Kiev authorities for supporting and creating favourable conditions for the Vietnamese community in the city to settle down and make contributions to Kiev’s growth as well as the Vietnam-Ukraine relations.

He said he hopes Kiev will continue backing Vietnamese enterprises in the city, including the International Trade Promotion Center "RAINBOW" and the 251 High School named after President Ho Chi Minh, which he described as a symbol of the Vietnam-Ukraine friendship.

The diplomat took the occasion to invite the Kiev leader to attend a Vietnamese concert in Kiev in mid-June and the Vietnamese Culture Day in Lvov city in July. He also expressed his wish that the Kiev Governor will visit Vietnam and Hanoi soon.
