Three visitors, including an American man, were injured in a bizarre car accident which happened inside Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens last week.

Zookeeper Le Thi Ngoc Mai, 52, asked her 53-year-old colleague Nguyen Van Bay to help her learn to how to drive in the zoo.
Bay agreed and asked Mai to drive one of the zoo’s trucks. Just a few minutes later, the truck controlled by Mai hit into a group of four visitors who were sitting on a bench.
Three, including 49-year-old American men named Robert Conte and two Vietnamese women Phan Thi Ngoc Bich and Dang Thi Chau were injured and immediately hospitalised.
According to District 1 police, Conte and Chau’s condition have improved than Bich who is facing serious injuries.
