An interesting 'Christmas bus' in HCM City

Mr. Le Xuan Huy's second home is a bus. On holidays such as Vietnamese Women's Day, Christmas and Lunar New Year, the driver, who has been a bus driver for five years, and his wife decorate the bus with appropriate themes.

These days, the bus running from Ben Thanh to Long Kieng Bridge (HCM City) of Huy and his wife (and bus attendant Dang Cam Tu), impresses passengers with brilliant Christmas decorations.

Along with decorative items from last year's Christmas season, Huy spent VND3 million this year to buy strings of lights, a pine tree, and Santa Claus figures.

From the outside, the bus is no different from others but the inside is filled with a Christmas atmosphere.

“My granddaughter likes dolls so she was very happy to be given a doll and see the decorations. The whole journey was nearly an hour, but she talked and laughed all the time without feeling tired," said Mrs. Uc. At the end of the trip, a passenger took photos of her daughter on the bus.

Huy says he likes bringing joy and comfort to help them feel less tired after a long hard day of work.
