VietNamNet Bridge – On August 19, hundreds of fishermen rushed to the waters of Binh Chau Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province to illegally salvage artifacts from a fourth ancient ship which was just discovered on the evening of August 18.

The ship is about 50 m from the shore, at a depth of about 3 m from the surface. This is the fourth ancient ship carrying potteries found in Binh Chau commune. The ship is 1km from the 700-year-old wreck.

The local authorities have mobilized naval ships and ships of the border guard forces to protect the wreck.

According to fishermen, antiquities in this ship are more valuable than those in the third ship, which were discovered four days ago in Binh Chau.
