Discussions on the second working day will be held under the themes of “The New Jon Creators”, “Game Changer”, “Connecting for Growth”, “New Frontiers in Trade, “the Digital Age” and “Made in the World”.

While the “Connecting for Growth” dialogue will look into effective approaches for promoting economic vitality by bridging global, regional, and domestic gaps tied to trade and business, the one on “New Frontiers in Trade” is set to mull over the future path of trade liberalisation – what issues need to be resolved and how trade agreements can promote inclusive growth.

At the “Digital Age” debate, APEC delegates will discuss how the evolution of the digital economy will impact the region, and what can be done to harness the benefits while preparing societies to adapt.

The “Made in the World” discussion will talk economic, political, and technological trends that will change the way goods and services are produced around the world.

The APEC CEO Summit 2017 from November 8 to 10 is chaired by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Also on November 9, youth delegates to the APEC Voices of the Future Forum will partake in a number of activities within the APEC CEO Summit 2017.

Meanwhile, the APEC Park will be officially inaugurated the same day, showcasing artistic statues symbolizing APEC member economies.

Those activities are part of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Da Nang from November 6 to 11.
