All four models in the iPhone 16 lineup are now available as refurbished units in the US market: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max.

Prices for the refurbished iPhone 16 start at $619 - substantially lower than the original $799 launch price and even below the current $699 retail price for a new unit.

The refurbished iPhone 16 Plus starts at $699. For the Pro models, the starting prices are $759 for the 16 Pro and $929 for the 16 Pro Max.

This certified refurbished program is also being rolled out in Canada and various European countries, including the UK, France, Germany, and Italy, although model availability may vary by region.

All refurbished units are international (unlocked) models, and each device includes a brand-new battery and new outer casing.

The products are packaged in a minimalist white box with a USB-C charging cable. They go through a rigorous cleaning and inspection process to ensure their appearance and functionality match that of a brand-new device.

Buyers receive a standard one-year limited warranty from Apple and are eligible to purchase extended protection plans like AppleCare+ or AppleCare One.

The iPhone 16 series, launched in September 2024, introduced several new features, including the Camera Control button and Apple Intelligence - Apple's suite of AI features - across all models.

The Pro and Pro Max models are equipped with larger displays than their predecessors (6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively), an optimized A18 Pro chip, a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera, and 4K video recording at 120 frames per second.
