According to the latest reports, the iPhone 20 Pro Max could become one of Apple’s most iconic products since the original iPhone first appeared in 2007.

Previous leaks suggest the device will feature a truly edge-to-edge display with glass curved on all four sides, creating a visual effect that makes the bezels almost disappear.

The new design is expected to represent a major leap in appearance, much like the transformation Apple introduced with the iPhone X during the iPhone’s 10th anniversary celebration.

A report from Bloomberg indicates that Apple is investing significant resources into the project with the goal of making it the standout model in its future iPhone portfolio.

Two large-screen anniversary iPhone models

The 20th anniversary iPhone is expected to be available in two sizes, similar to the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models anticipated to arrive in September this year.

If current information proves accurate, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will retain the same display sizes as the current iPhone 17 Pro lineup.

That would mean the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max are likely to offer screen sizes of approximately 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches.

Launching alongside a second-generation foldable iPhone

Another notable detail is that Apple is expected to unveil the anniversary iPhone alongside its second-generation foldable iPhone.

After years of research and development, Apple is believed to be preparing its official entry into the foldable smartphone market.

If current plans remain unchanged, the first foldable iPhone will arrive earlier, while the second-generation model will debut together with the special anniversary lineup in 2027.

Apple is also developing a standard iPhone 20 lineup. However, those devices are expected to use a different version of the A21 chip, likely the standard variant rather than the A21 Pro that may power the premium models.
