Apple’s biggest event of the year is just days away. Beyond the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra, several other highly anticipated products could make their debut.

Here are the most notable products expected to appear.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra will take center stage

The iPhone will undoubtedly remain the star of the event. Apple is believed to have prepared three new premium iPhone models, with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max serving as the flagships alongside the long-awaited foldable iPhone Ultra.

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to feature Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip, accompanied by significant camera upgrades. It could also gain new color options and a more compact Dynamic Island design, freeing up more display space.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to place a strong emphasis on battery life. Rumors suggest it will feature a larger battery alongside improvements in performance and power efficiency, potentially making it the longest-lasting iPhone Apple has ever produced.

Most intriguing of all is the iPhone Ultra, Apple’s first foldable iPhone. The device is expected to establish an entirely new product line and compete directly with premium foldable smartphones already on the market.

Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 to bring major health upgrades

The Apple Watch is almost always an important part of Apple’s September events, and this year is expected to be no exception. Two new models are anticipated: the Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 could gain new health sensors alongside several design changes. These upgrades are expected to further reinforce the Ultra’s position as Apple’s most premium smartwatch.

For the Apple Watch Series 12, the focus could be on a more powerful S-series chip and continuous heart-rate monitoring. Apple is also reportedly considering a ceramic case option, giving users a more premium choice.

AirPods 5 expected, but camera-equipped AirPods will have to wait

Another notable product is the AirPods 5. Apple is expected to introduce its next generation of wireless earbuds in two versions: a standard model and another with active noise cancellation, or ANC. The earbuds could also feature a new chip to improve connectivity, audio processing and efficiency.

Earlier leaks suggested Apple might unveil AirPods with built-in cameras as early as September. However, according to journalist Mark Gurman, the unusual earbuds will not arrive this year and are instead expected in 2027. That means AirPods 5 will most likely be the only new AirPods model introduced at the upcoming event.

The biggest surprise could come from new smart-home devices

The iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods are all but certain to feature prominently at Apple’s September event. But the company could have another surprise in store with a new lineup of smart-home devices.

The most notable is the long-rumored HomePad or HomePod Touch, which is expected to feature a 7-inch touchscreen. The device could serve as a central hub for controlling products across Apple’s smart-home ecosystem while providing a new interface for interacting with Siri.

The HomePod mini 2 is also expected to appear, potentially bringing a new chip, improved sound quality and support for Siri’s AI capabilities. Apple could also introduce a new generation of the Apple TV 4K with a more powerful chip, an AI-enhanced Siri and an upgraded Siri Remote.

New MacBooks and iPads may have to wait until October

Beyond these products, Apple is believed to be developing several other devices for release this fall. However, they are considered less likely to appear at the Sept. 9 event.

Products that could still deliver a surprise if Apple changes its plans include the MacBook Ultra, an M6-powered MacBook Pro, the iMac M6 and an iPad mini with an OLED display. A new full-size HomePod is also rumored to be in Apple’s pipeline.

Still, the latest reports suggest Apple will most likely keep its September event focused on the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Ultra, next-generation Apple Watches and AirPods 5. If the rumors prove accurate, it could be one of Apple’s most significant product launch events in years.
