During his stay in HCM City, the former Arsenal player Sol Campbell visited a number of historical relic sites including the Vietnam Museum of Traditional Medicine, Independence Palace, Saigon Central Post Office, and Ben Thanh market.
The former Arsenal and Spurs player took part in different activities including a cooking contest, attending conferences on training practises and healthy living, and offering commentary on a match between Arsenal and Tottenham.
Sol Campbell pays a visit to the Vietnam Museum of Traditional Medicine.
He takes some photos of the museum. The football legend wears a Vietnamese traditional dress (ao dai). He has fun dressing up to act as a traditional physician. Campbell says he is very surprised by the ornate architecture of the museum and does not think that there are so many plants with medicinal uses. The former Arsenal player visits Independence Palace. He talks with his fans. Sol Campbell sports a Non La (Vietnamese conical hat) at the Saigon Central Post Office. Ben Thanh market is his last stop. Campbell says he is interested in the handicrafts and unique souvenirs of Vietnam. The Arsenal legend took pictures with tourists at the market. After his city tour, Campbell returned to London on November 19 to continue his work as an official ambassador of Arsenal. |
