Takeoff and landing service prices are proposed to increase during peak hours

According to the proposal, takeoff and landing service prices will move up 15 percent compared to current level during peak hours and reduce by the same rate in off-peak hours to airports belonging to groups A and B.

The cost for airports in group C will account for 60 percent of the price for group B during peak hours.

The agency also suggested a roadmap for the price hike to prevent from affecting airports’ operation and trading.

Specifically, the price will surge by 5 percent from July 1 this year and continue raising 10 percent from January 1 next year.

In addition, aviation security service will soar from US$1.5 to $2 per international passenger and from VND9,090 to VND18,181 per domestic passenger.
