Bamboo Airways wants to add VND10 trillion to charter capital

Bamboo Airways is planning to increase its charter capital by nearly VND10 trillion through a new share issue to restructure its debt and fund its business operations.

The plan will be submitted to the company’s extraordinary general meeting for approval on April 10.

Bamboo Airways will increase its charter capital from VND18,500 billion to VND28,462 billion by issuing 996.2 million shares via private placement.

The charter capital increase will be conducted this year if shareholders approve it. The new shares can be transferrable.

This share issue aims to restructure the company’s debt and serve the company’s business operations, according to a representative of Bamboo Airways.

In a related development, the airline has found new investors and make an announcement in the coming time.
