Tourists will have an opportunity to get a better view of colourful butterflies this summer in many forests in Vietnam, such as Cuc Phuong, Nam Cat Tien and other National Parks.
Tam Dao National Park in the northern province of Vinh Phuc Ba Be lake in Nam Mau commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, about 230km north of Hanoi. Cuc Phuong National Park is about 120 km southwest of Hanoi. Nam Cat Tien National park belongs to five districts of Tan Phu, Vinh Cuu (in the southern province of Dong Nai), and Cat Tien and Bao Loc districts in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong). Around 450 types of butterflies including rare species in Nam Cat Tien are listed in Vietnam Red Book 2007. Ma Da Forest in the district of Vinh Cuu in the southern province of Dong Nai is about 90km east of HCM City. Colourful butterflies appear in several roads from Buon Ma Thuot city to the district of Krong Ana in Dak Lak province in the Central Highlands. |
