CTicket said it completed all three sales phases for BIGBANG’s Hanoi shows within hours, supported by REAL FAN verification, enhanced payment security and flexible ticket distribution rules.

CTicket deployed several layers of technology simultaneously to curb bots, verify buyers, secure payments and segment customers according to the organiser’s requirements. The company said the platform remained stable throughout the high-traffic sales, with the V.I.P Membership presale selling out in under two hours, the VPBank Mastercard presale in under four hours, and the remaining tickets at the general on-sale selling out in about 90 minutes.
Technology built around each event’s challenge
For organisers, the challenge is not simply selling tickets, but ensuring that tickets reach their intended audiences. CTicket allows organisers to set customised rules for each event, from verifying an artist’s fan base and identifying customers within a partner ecosystem to prioritising buyers by geography.
One of the tools deployed was REAL FAN, CTicket’s verification feature that replaces the standard CAPTCHA with multiple-choice questions related to the artist, designed to help filter out automated ticket-buying tools. The company said a geo-based filter was also used to restrict IP addresses and VPN connections, with nearly 90% of successful buyers identified as being located in Vietnam. Buyers also came from nearly 20 other countries and territories.
Safer payments, more transparent sales
Bot-driven scalping remains a persistent challenge across the global ticketing industry. CTicket said it has built verification directly into the purchasing process rather than attempting to identify resold tickets afterward. During the VPBank Mastercard presale, the system verified payment cards at the partner’s request without storing users’ card data, according to the company.
“For international organisers, ticketing is not just a sales channel, but a core part of an event’s infrastructure,” said Ngan Nguyen, CEO of Cresta, the company that operates CTicket. “A good system has to handle very high traffic, let partners control exactly who can buy tickets, keep the process fair, and keep transactions secure. With BIGBANG, we’ve shown we can do all of that at scale.”
The sale adds to CTicket’s experience distributing tickets for international shows in Vietnam, including G-Dragon’s 2025 World Tour [Übermensch] in Hanoi, Daesung’s D’s Road Asia Tour, Tempest’s 1st Asia Tour, Kim Jae Joong’s Asia Tour, and fan meetings featuring Tiffany Young, Hyeri and YoonA. As Vietnam attracts more international tours, the company says it aims to become a preferred technology and ticketing partner for global organisers.
CTicket.vn is an online ticketing platform in Vietnam that says it focuses on providing a modern, transparent and secure ticket-buying process and has worked with a number of large-scale concerts and entertainment events in the country.
