BIGBANG, one of South Korea’s most iconic music groups, has officially announced the destinations for its upcoming global tour, with Hanoi included among the stops.
Hanoi is one of the tour’s official destinations.
According to the schedule, Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium will be the eighth destination on BIGBANG’s world tour, which kicks off in South Korea on August 21 and concludes in Taiwan on February 27, 2027. The group is set to perform two nights in Vietnam on October 24 and 25, 2026.
Earlier, news that BIGBANG might perform in Vietnam had already generated considerable excitement among Vietnamese fans after YG Entertainment announced plans to celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary with a global tour.
Vietnam had long been viewed as a potential stop on the tour, but confirmation that Hanoi would be included in the official itinerary sparked an outpouring of excitement among fans. As soon as the announcement was made, many began preparing to secure tickets for the highly anticipated concerts.
Three members will participate in the upcoming tour.
According to information revealed during the group’s appearance at the Coachella stage in the United States in April, the tour lineup will feature G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung.
All three members have remained active in the entertainment industry in recent years. G-Dragon, in particular, previously selected Hanoi as a stop on his solo Übermensch tour last year, drawing tens of thousands of fans.
BIGBANG last performed in Vietnam in April 2012 as part of a large-scale music festival. However, this marks the first time the country has been included as an official stop on one of the group’s global concert tours.
