V.League 1 defending champions Bình Dương have signed a six-month contract with striker Ivan Firer who was sacked by FLC Thanh Hóa.

Slovenian Firer played 11 matches, scored three goals, and created opportunities for his teammates to score goals - all while wearing Thanh Hóa’s jersey.

Bình Dương also inked a contract with naturalised midfielder Nguyễn Rodgers from ĐồngNai for the remaining matches of the national premier league.

Hải Phòng currently tops the rankings table, with 28 points after 11 matches. Bình Dương and Thanh Hóa are the runners-up, with 19 points each.
