A 54-year-old man in Binh Duong Province died after being stabbed by his 14-year old daughter.

On March 10, the man and his wife and 14-year-old daughter had a physical confrontation. 

In the heat of the moment, the daughter grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her father. Even though he was quickly transferred to the hospital, he died the next day.

There was a rumour that the daughter had used drugs and was hallucinating when she killed her father. 

However, after investigating the case, the police in Binh Duong said the rumour was completely without foundation.

According to police the man had returned home at 11 pm and started arguing with his daughter who was cooking in the kitchen. 

They fought and his wife attempted to stop the dispute only to be hit by her husband with a plank of wood. His daughter at that point picked up a knife and stabbed her father and ran away.

Police in Binh Duong Province is investigating the case.
