The Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Tournament – Biwase Cup 2016 is scheduled to be officially opened on March 8 in order to mark the 106th anniversary of the International Women’s Day.
Accordingly, the competitiors will join the race that stretches nearly 800 kilometers across Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria- Vung Tau and Binh Duong provinces- Final stage.
This year’s racing competition attracts the participation of Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Kazakhstan with strong cyclists such as Thailand's Supuksorn Nuntana claimed maiden gold medal of Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Tournament 2015, and Philippines’s Salamat Marlla Vania who won the women's individual time trial of the 28th SEA Games.
The total prize value is up to VND 300 million.
The first Binh Duong International Women Cycling Open Tournament was launched in Binh Duong in 2011.
It becomes one of the annual sport events of the province.
