Bitexco Financial Tower is among the Top 10 most attractive places in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the Ho Chi Minh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Top 10 is compiled by the department and the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association annually to honor businesses that have made a positive contribution to the effective development of the city’s tourism sector.

The Saigon Skydeck Observatory is located on the 49th Floor of Bitexco Financial Tower at a height of 179 meters and attracts an average of 600 visitors each day, mostly foreigners.

Bitexco Financial Tower, owned by the Bitexco Group, is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City and has 68 storeys.

Bitexco now owns a number of major real estate projects in large cities, including The Manor My Dinh and The Manor Central Park in Hanoi and The Manor Office-tel and Bitexco Financial Tower in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City welcomed 5.2 million international visitors last year, up 10 per cent compared to 2015, according to the department. Domestic tourists were estimated at 21.8 million, up 10 per cent.

Total revenue from tourism was estimated at VND103 trillion ($4.68 billion), an increase of 9 per cent.

Ho Chi Minh City expects to welcome 5.5 million international visitors this year, up 7 per cent over 2016. Domestic visitors are to reach 24 million, up 10 per cent.
