Bkav SmartHome Security devices, which apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, will help eliminate false alarms for unauthorized intrusions into a house. The complete kit costs at least VND50 million (US$2,100).

The kit, which includes a central security device, electronic wall, sensing devices and Internet Protocol camera system, puts up a multilayered wall and monitors the entire house. If a homeowner forgets to close a door or a fire or explosion occurs, the devices send notifications and trigger various actions, such as turning the lights on in intruded areas, sending alerts or text messages or phoning the owner.

The kit offers pioneering security solutions in the market with AI-powered equipment, which can distinguish between family members and strangers and can automatically switch modes based on the owner’s settings. The devices, which boast a small and convenient design, are connected through wireless networking protocols such as ZigBee and Wi-Fi. They are also easy to install and operate.

Many low-cost security devices in the market reportedly pose risks that bother homeowners, sending false alarms that cause inconvenience, for example, when guests visit a house.
